Free legal Advice centres in Birmingham

Birmingham FLAG is delivered by students and as such is a term time only service, running from Oct – Dec and Jan – March.

The Birmingham Free Legal Advice Group (FLAG), is a clinic delivered by University law students working under the supervision of qualified lawyers, offering free legal advice in the following areas of law:

  • Family and divorce law
  • Wills and probate
  • Employment
  • Civil disputes*
  • Housing, Landlord and Tenant

Appointments

Appointments can be pre-booked here and can be held online (via Zoom) or in person (at the Exchange, 3 Centenary Square, Birmingham B1 2DR). They take place on either a Tuesday or a Thursday from either 5-6pm or 6-7pm during term time.

The Centre is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm to assist with employment problems. They ask that new clients contact them by using the contact form here. If the matter is urgent the Acas Helpline can be contacted on 0300 123 1100.
